PICKLEBALL COURT

Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines the elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. 2 or 4 players use solid paddles to hit a perforated polymer ball, much like a Wiffle ball, over a modified tennis net. Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in North America. The spread of the sport is due to its popularity within community centres, public parks, and private clubs. The design of the playing surface, which is shorter in dimensions than a tennis court, makes pickleball ideal for the backyard.

Pickleball courts can be built as a stand-alone court or multiple courts can be placed within an existing tennis court layout. A pickleball court can be combined with other sports such as tennis, basketball, badminton and multi-sport courts.

Pickleball court specifications:

A standard pickleball court is 20 feet wide and 44 feet long - 30 feet wide and 60 feet long with overruns. The playing lines for a pickleball court are 2” wide.
